The Holiday Party for Atlanta PrimeTimers® was held on Saturday, December 3rd at Mary Mac’s Tea Room. Members adorned crowns of gold to celebrate the success of the APT throughout 2022.
The room was full of catch-up conversation and well wishes for the Holiday Season. Over 50 members attended to enjoy the Southern cooking of the historical Mary Mac’s Tea Room on Ponce De Leon Ave. in downtown Atlanta. Food was aplenty and members went home with leftover southern fried chicken, fried catfish, roasted turkey and all the sides for a Sunday meal.
President Mike Murphy publicly thanked members who had organized and hosted events throughout the year. He thanked departing board members, Chris Harris, Gregg Melton and Daniel Barker for their service throughout 2022. Members Bob Elkinson, Barney Hill, Ricky Gallman and Brian Hankin were welcomed as members of the 2023 APT Board of Directors.
Membership Director, Jason Calvert, had the members laughing in their seats as he raffled off gifts to the lucky ticket holder. Everyone was a winner and went home with something to remind them of the wonderful time they had socializing with our Atlanta PrimeTimers®.
Overall, it was a fun time once again with the great men of Atlanta……..thank you to all of our members for supporting the ATLPT chapter throughout 2022.
