Prime Timers of Sacramento (PTS) looks forward to working with the Sacramento LGBT Community Center on two projects supporting the Senior/Elder LGBTQ+ community: 1) Golden Grounds/LGBTQ+ Seniors support group and 2) the Men’s Support Group.
PTS also works with the city’s LGBTQ+ Historical Preservation Project facilitating oral recordings at the Center. We suggest our members participate in this worthwhile project, as our PrimeTimers® have the history of what it was like to be in the Sacramento area’s LGBTQ community in the 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and now.
And, PTS also continues a close relationship with the separate Wisdom Project – supporting its efforts advocating and providing services to the local Senior/Elder LGBTQ+ community.
